Friends of Euclid Creek Annual Scholarship Information
Our annual scholarship exists to aid high school graduates who will be entering college. Occasionally college students in their sophomore or junior year will be considered. The awards granted are generally between $500 - $1000. The number of scholarships awarded per year is dependent on available funds and the number of qualified candidates who apply.
Applications are reviewed by a Scholarship Committee comprised of FOEC members who are committed to the FOEC mission. The Scholarship Committee looks for the following:
· Candidates who plan to seek a degree in environmental studies, a technology degree, or certificate program that is aligned with the mission of FOEC.
· An emphasis on watershed conservation and advocacy is preferred.
· Candidates should detail their experiences in watershed conservation and advocacy, including any education, volunteer, or work-related experiences.
· Candidates should detail what motivated them to choose their field of study.
