Tom recommends those in attendance bring a picnic or sack lunch to enjoy afterwards at the Mentor Headlands State Park facilities. There are public picnic tables, grills, rest rooms, and change houses available at the beach. Mentor Headlands State Park is adjacent to the nature preserve. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with FOEC members and friends.
PARKING is at the far eastern end of the Mentor Headlands State Park parking lot, Google Map Link to Parking
TERRAIN is level but upon sandy beach and lightly vegetated dunes.
OPEN TO FOEC members, guests and invited outsiders of any age.
